Got it back

It's been a month for my "trial run" back into blogging and let me just say...I got it back!! Blogging mojo that is. I'm feeling really good about it.

I would like to send a mega shout out to everyone who takes the time to comment and look at anything I post! It feels good to be able to share my ideas and maybe send a little creativity spark because I get so much enrichment and inspiration from reading blogs.

During my "break" from updating this blog I considered just letting it go. Time management was is an issue, as was motivation. My purpose for blogging is not monetary, I don't want to be a superstar, I don't want to teach people to sew... so what's the point? I need a creative outlet. That's all. Just like so many others I follow. I never stopped sewing/crafting but I did notice that the output was a little boring. I think putting it "out there" helps me kick up the creativity mojo.

One day, I was in my inspiration folder on the computer, and I thought, "Maybe, I should be sharing this!" Duh. So yea, I'm really back.

What in the world have I been up to?

I have been sewing, and though there's nothing notable, I have reviewed most of it on PR over the past months. My mojo has been up & down, mostly because when I have had time to sew, I only had time for quickies.

Now that summer break's over and a certain someone is becoming more independent I'm ready to get back into my regular routine, and hopefully put myself up to some more challenging projects...

So how are ya'll doin?

Back to life

Now I'm back from outer space, a.k.a. the "Jr. zone." He's FINALLY starting to sleep for longer stretches in the evening thanks to him starting solid food and busyness at daycare. So now I have more me time.

Jr, 5 months (believe it or not, 20 lbs!!! - yea he can eat, breastfeeding is OUT!)

Over the past few months I have been BUSY!!! (duh) Glad to still be employed, but I think they tried to get me to make up for lost time when I first got back. That's under control though. Keeping up with a new baby, middle schooler and a hubby didn't completely wear me out. I still have been getting my stitches in here & there and have some reviews coming up.

I promised myself I wouldn't bore yall with kid pics, but I can't resist, so I'll just get it out of my system this post. They are pretty relevant tho, since a couple of them feature things I've sewn in the last few months.

Kiddo was in a pageant!! details coming.
