Another driveby posting

I have sew much to update but I've been in the middle of planning Mom's 50th for the last couple of weeks so I have to keep doing these quickies. The big party is Saturday, which is also my sis-n-law's baby shower. I haven't even gotten her a gift! I wanted to make her something, but I haven't finished my Mom's present.

I did make myself a top last night though. (gosh, I'm so bad, but I needed the therapy ya feel me?) It was quick & easy. I'll consider this a wearable muslin because I'm not feeling the cap sleeve or the horizonal stripe on me. I do like the drawstring waist which is what I was unsure about in the first place so I'll find a nice solid make it again.

Sorry, this is the best face I could give after spending the day
with a bunch of rowdy 5th graders at a baseball game.
I'm so glad we left early.
And I still haven't figured out how to get kiddo's fingersmudge off my camera lens. I gotta fix that before Saturday!
