Inauguration

This week/weekend has meant so much to me, not in just the historical context of the country, but in regards to my family's future and future history. Found out today that
We are having a boy!

I knew I needed to bring a son into this world (and for hubby) when I was hoping/wishing/praying to get pregnant. I knew he was finally here when I found out I was pregnant. Then my Mom with her country ESP looked at me one day and said "that's a boy," and I knew she was right. So it has been confirmed by a professional and now I'm terrified - lol!

I know nothing about little boys so hubby and his mom will be my mentors until I figure out what this little dude is all about. My side of the family is mostly women so this is a big deal and an honor, and what a great time for boy to be born in the US!

PS. I have been sewing. I now have two pair of maternity jeans and Simplicity 3678 made.
& I have rearranged my "office" so hubby can move into the basement with me - boo on that! We should move already!!!
Pics coming soon :)

Congrats! That's fantastic!! When I found out I was pregnant with twins I was scared - and even more scared when, at around 25 weeks, it was confirmed that it was two boys. I grew up with a younger sister. So when they were born I was terrified of "messing up" .... almost 14 months later I couldn't be more happy about having two boys AND about how much I've learned!! Good luck!!

I'd don't know anything about little boys either. You'll figure it out soon enough :) Congrats!
