"My, you look springy today"

Was all I heard.

ALL DAY LONG!!!

But I did tho...

Cardigan: Butterick 5498   Fabric: mystery knit
Dress: Butterick 4980 (out of print)  Fabric: Polyester peachskin from Joann's Simply Silky collection
Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Thrifted

Inspiration:

Yessssssss JC PENNEY!!! I know right! I rarely find things I want to wear there (I'm a Kohl's girl) but I went in about a month or so ago to shop for the boy and passing by the misses' dept, I saw bunches and bunches of pretty, colorful & bright spring floral dresses.

Sure, I could have easily purchased one - they were on sale for $40-50, but what fun is that??!! I already had the fabric and pattern in my stash from last year (or before) so it was meant to be.

What I like about it is that it is a no frills pretty floral dress, which my closet is really lacking. Sometimes I need to take my "fashion sense" down a notch, and just wear something simple and classic.
