I feel pretty accomplished! Today I am wearing an outfit (of separates!!!) created completely by me.
Cardigan: Simplicity 2603. Made in summer 2010, no review. It's just OK. This is only my second time wearing it. The rayon/Lycra blend jersey is from Joann's and feels nice & light but is indeed heavy in weight, the hems are weighing the sleeves and drape. I also do not like the sleeve "cuff." I want to make this again, in the same color but a better fabric and change the sleeve.
Top: Butterick 5497. Made/reviewed in summer 2010. I almost forgot I made this since the weather has been changing. I was going to wear a boring solid shirt but opted for this pop of print instead.
Pants: Butterick 5539 Ponte pants have become my obsession since I made a pair for maternity wear. I'm so glad this pattern was released! It has the feel of a legging without the skin tightness. I'm gonna be making more of these for sure!

I recently honored with the Beautiful Blogger award from (Queen) Mahogany Stylist. I dont know who to nominate! I have over 100 sewing blogs in my google reader & my mind is not in a place to pick any faves. I need to figure out how to get my blog roll back on my side bar!!!!
I think I'll just dedicate a song to all Sewists/DIYers who LOVE wearing their creations and to whomever is reading this.
