Butterick 4987 & New Look 6757

... the latest & greatest for my "work" wardrobe. I'm thinking in hot TX, I'll need more camisoles, short sleeves and natural fibers. I wanted to transition away from synthetics anyway to step up my quality.

I have a few pieces of Poly/Rayon/Lycra suiting left so I'll sew those up but I wont buy any more - even though it is totally comfortable and comes in the best stripes. I love striped pants. So I'm on the hunt for suit/pants worthy cotton, linen and silk. I think wool would be too hot.

I'll post reviews on PR later when I can think. I just got home from work and I need my evening nap.

Very summery top! Love the pants too. :-D

You know, if you're interested in a light-weight wool, try tropical weight worsted wool. It's very light and suitable for hot climates.

Those pants are sooo cute! I've never made pants but I think I'm going to try those for my first ones. I'll read your reveiw on PR. And I LOVE that top too. GREAT fabric! I'm so envious that you're moving somewhere warm.
