My first advanced Vogue!

Finished those pants from Vogue 1052 I cut out a few months ago. Let me tell you... 55 steps to make a pair of pants.... yea.

I have been pining for these pants for over a year but I was afraid because of the advanced rating, but I figured after pushing out an 8-lb baby after the anesthesia wore off I can do *anything*

I just took a deep breath and took my time and it worked out great! Completing this has made me feel much better and more confident in my sewing & even if it hadn't turn out right, I still would have felt rewarded for the experience because working with this pattern had me trying new things. I still have another Vogue pants pattern waiting for me to finish, I might give it a try again if I get in the mood. I need something easy for my next project.

I even improved on my fly front. Check it out.

While I was at it I completed a WEARABLE BWOF!!!!
I scrapped trying to understand the instructions but it really doesn't count when there is only one pattern piece to trace, lol!

but still, I am the bomb.com!

I love the pants and the color of them. You look so cute in both your new pieces. Girl, you are really bouncing back after having your baby. I was hiding for almost 9 months after and was still wearing a 14, when I was a 6 prebaby. Go girl!

They look very comfy and you look very youthful and just like you didn't just have a baby. Lucky!! lol.

And 55 steps I may would have burned the pattern and tried to put a root on vogue for it.

You did a fantastic job and love the color choice for the pants. Now I am envious, I have yet to master a fly front. Everytime I think of doing pants... I run to the Loft and buy a pair instead....lol
